This program is designed to introduce or remind front-line employees and managers of the fundamental skills and concepts that result in satisfied and repeat customers, visitors, and guests. Through self-evaluation, interactive exercises, and group discussions, participants learn about the “Six Hospitality Habits” and gain an understanding of the long-lasting value of quality customer service. This interactive workshop includes . . . The Importance of and How To Make a Good First Impression – whether the customer walks in the store, calls on the phone, or sends an email. Best Practices for Managing Problems Effectively – Know basic concepts on what to do when a customer has a complaint. The Significance of Clear Communication – Understanding the importance of verbal and non-verbal communication; the difference between listening and hearing; plus, tips for communicating well in person and via emails and text messages.
