Description

A 3.5 month long Rainbow trout fishing even in the Llano River south of Mason, Texas. From Dec 3rd, 2022 through March 12th, 2023, 2500 Rainbow trout are released into the Llano river by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. The fishing event is FREE to the public, with the fish and related events sponsored completely by local and area business sponsors. Some fish are tagged for cash prizes and a chance to win a prize in the end of season grand prize drawing. This events kicks off the first Saturday of each December with the WinterFisch Celebration.
